Three GOLDS in badminton for Malaysia!!

It's no wonder Malaysia was introduced as the Badminton country in Asia during the opening ceremony of the Melbourne Commonwealth Games last week!

Of course, while our players may be good in the Commonwealth Games, do bear in mind that countries like Denmark and Indonesia did not participate, since they are not members of the Commonwealth. If they were in, I doubt we stand a chance to win that many golds in badminton.

Still, this year we've seen a pretty good gold haul. Not too bad, as long as we beat Singapore flat in the medal rankings! (Take that Singapoereans, we're better than you in sports! Ha!). Kudos to our lawn bowling team, they did us proud by winning in a sport that's been dominated by the English and Aussies.

I'm especially proud for Malaysian diver Bryan Nickson Lomas, he turned in a good performance despite ending up 6th place in the 10m platform dive. Good show, Bryan!

Looking forward to the next Games already! XD
