2006 Wishlist

This is my wishlist, a list of material possessions that I sorely lust/crave for. As I could barely find the time to keep things down in writing, I have resorted to putting up a wishlist here for my easy access. The rationale for this list is to serve as a reminder for me to work hard and get more money to achieve the things I want. I’ve divided the list to short-term, which is with this year and long-term, which would be at least over the next five years.

Heh… this would also probably serve as a guide for anyone planning to get me gifts ^_^ Nah, just joking! This list will be updated as frequently possible.

Short term

  1. Must have RM10,000 in my Bumiputra Commerce savings account by the end of 2006 —–> Not Fulfilled
  2. Upgrade to a better digital camera by this year if I am seriously to pursue my love for photography, preferably either the Olympus E-330 DSLR worth RM4,299 or the Canon EOS 350D worth RM4,600. Sony’s DSC-R1 that’s worth RM3,999 would’nt be too bad either, I guess. ALREADY FULFILLED! XD Got a Olympus E-300 DSLR worth RM3,599 instead for free as part of my work! Yippee!!
  3. I may need an entirely new CPU. ——> Not Fulfilled
  4. More shelves/containers for my ever-increasing library of books, comic and magazines!!! Might want to check Ikea out ——> Not Fulfilled
  5. Sign up for Astro! ^_^  ALREADY FULFILLED! XD XD
  6. A new pair of glasses, one that is hopefully much more stylish than the current one that I am wearing now (I’m anti-contact lense by the way.) ALREADY FULFILLED… GOT A NEW PAIR OF GLASSES WORTH RM400.
  7. A webcam that’s probably worth about RM100 to RM200. ALREADY FULFILLED! XD Got a LogiTech QuickCam Communicate STX worth RM298!

Long-term

  1. Get a GPS system for my car - worth around RM2,000 to RM3,000 - and I’ll never ever have to get lost driving in KL! ——> Not Fullfilled
  2. Hopefully, I’ll be able to get one of JVC’s Everio G Series of hard-disk camcorders, which I think is worth around RM4,000 to RM6,000. ———> Not Fulfilled
